Produce Growers Workshops in Anchorage, Palmer

The Alaska DEC Office of the State Veterinarian is announcing two upcoming Produce Growers Food Safety Workshops in Anchorage and Palmer. Produce growers who will fall under the full regulations of the FSMA Produce Safety Rule can fulfill their Grower Training requirements by attending this workshop. Since all commercial produce growers should be familiar with food safety practices, it is open to any other interested growers as well.

The Anchorage workshop will be presented over two evenings on January 17th and 18th, at the Lutheran Church of Hope on W. Northern Lights Blvd.

The Palmer workshop will be a single-day event on February 21st, at the Palmer Library.
